For Relevance AI to be able to process a media file (e.g. images, or audio) the file should be hosted somewhere on the net and accessible via a URL. This means, if your data is saved on your hard drive or any place that is not accessible via an
http... address, you will need to upload the data to the internet first.
The "Connect Media" workflow, frees you from the hassle of data upload and space management. Simply follow the steps below and Relevance AI will host your media files.
Note: As soon as you are done with your dataset and decide to delete it, all the corresponding media files will be automatically deleted from Relevance AI's platform.
- Select an empty dataset to which you want to upload the URLs to your media files
- Locate "Connect Media" under Workflows. If it does not appear on the left menu, click on "View all" and search for "Connect Media".
- Use Browse or drag-and-drop to access your media file(s). When "Continue" is clicked, the workflow starts. After it is finalized, a field called "URL" is added to your dataset which contains the URL to your uploaded file(s).
Note: You can also zip all your media files and use the
.zip file as the input to the "Connect Media" workflow.
